Behavioural Intervention Connect
We founded Behaviour Connect with a shared vision to provide evidence-based, individualised support for children with special needs and their families. From the outset, we recognised the importance of continuous learning and pursued further studies to deepen our knowledge and enhance the services we provide.
Through this journey, we have developed expertise in navigating the Interdisciplinary approach to intervention, fostering collaboration between professionals to meet the unique needs of each child (Rainforth, York-Barr, & Maheady, 1992). Building on this foundation, we are now integrating aspects of the Transdisciplinary approach to intervention, which emphasises role release - where team members share skills and expertise across disciplines (King et al., 2009).
We believe in the value of combining the diverse skills and strengths of professionals, caregivers, and families.
Behaviour Connect is proud to support children and their families, delivering personalised services
through direct intervention, consultation models, and collaborative partnerships across home, school, and community environments.
